Freeway Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair is a fully equipped service unit based at 181 The West Mall. We work on the shoulder, in your yard, at the dock, or in the customer lot — diesel diagnostics, air brakes, tires, electrical, and MTO safety prep, without your tractor sitting in a shop queue for three days.

01 — What we do
Service list
Everything below is done on-site. If a job genuinely needs a hoist or a machine shop, we'll tell you on the phone before we roll — no surprise tow bills.
- Roadside breakdown & no-start Cranking, no-crank, fuel starvation, derate, shutdown codes. We read the ECM on the shoulder before we touch anything.
- Air brake service & adjustment Slack adjusters, chambers, valves, lines, compressor and dryer. Automatic slack adjustment and leak-down testing to spec.
- Diesel diagnostics Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo/Mack. Fault codes, sensor faults, regen problems, aftertreatment and DEF issues.
- Tires — tractor & trailer Drive, steer and trailer tire changes, mounted and torqued to spec. Wheel seal and bearing checks while we're in there.
- Trailer repair Lights, wiring, landing gear, mud flaps, doors and hinges, cross members, air lines, gladhands, ABS lamps.
- Electrical & lighting Charging and starting systems, battery load testing, parasitic draw, trailer cord and pigtail repair, marker and stop lamps.
- Preventive maintenance PM-A, PM-B and full-service oil changes at your yard, on your schedule — nights and weekends included.
- MTO safety inspection prep We go through the truck against the inspection sheet, fix what fails, and send you in ready instead of paying for a re-test.
- Hydraulics & air suspension Air bags, height valves, leveling valves, hoses and fittings, PTO and wet kit leaks.
- Fifth wheel & coupling Jaw and wedge rebuilds, mounting bolts, release handles, kingpin wear — the things that fail an inspection and scare a driver.

Coverage
Based at The West Mall, we run the west end of the GTA and the corridors that feed it. If you're outside this list, call anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to you in a reasonable window.
Yards, docks, customer lots and shoulders. We carry the tools and the common parts; anything unusual gets sourced the same day where possible.
04 — Hours
Open 6 AM to midnight, every day
Seven days a week, including holidays. Early mornings and late nights are when most of the fleet work happens, so that's when we're on the road.
Outside those hours, leave a message with the unit number and location — first thing in the morning is the first call back.
05 — Who you're calling
One truck, one number, no runaround
Freeway is a small mobile operation, not a shop with a service writer between you and the person holding the wrench. When you call, you're talking to the mechanic who's going to show up.
That's the whole point of a mobile unit. A tractor sitting in a dealer queue costs a carrier a driver's day and a load. We'd rather drive to the yard at 5 AM, do the job in the parking lot, and have the unit dispatched before the shop would have opened its doors.
We work on highway tractors, dry vans, reefers and flat decks — the everyday commercial equipment that keeps freight moving through the west end. Most of our calls come from drivers and dispatchers who've used us before, and from yards that got tired of waiting.
